I used to drive stupidly myself.  I like going fast.

But once upon a time,  I went and did the experiment. I was driving Cab  I
was driving caband so on a trip wioth a customer after the bars closed I
drove in strict compliance with the law.

Then on the way back across town to our waiting places I did the Starky and
Hutch thing.  The difference in total elapsed time

Two and a half minutes.

Ever since then I just don't bother.  Once the car is in motion I forget
about time and just drive normal.
