AIFF is NOT RedBood CD. AIFF is an individual file based system, similar
to individual WAV files. It's probable that your sister's CAR CD player
can read data CD's, and treat audio files as playbackable. Older CD
players can't do that, the entire CD must be a full Redbook spec CD, not a
collection of individual files.
Look in iTunes and check the burning options, and make sure you have
selected in the Preferences/Advanced/Disk Burning section to Audio CD, and
not DATA CD.
