On my D'B system, each echo has what is supposed to be a permanant 1.msg
file in it. Internally, it looks like this when read with a ASCII reader:

000000000 D'Bridge..................................D'Bridge..............
000000400 ........Ignore this message; used for internal ECHOmail porcessi
000000080 ng.............02 Nov 14 00"10:00.......................f.....NO
0000000C0 ECHO...

It seems that D'B updates this file on it's midnite run...

I'm sure that Nick can explain it much better than I...
