Tom,
TW>Yes. I know, Fran suggested outdoor aviary as did others. Seems the most
TW>popular idea. Makes sense to me although neither you nor I have the
climate
TW>for it ... sigh ...
Since mine seem to be on a July/December egg laying schedule it just
wouldn't work outdoors.
TW>Great! Oh and good news for us. Perhaps Amy doesn't need knee surgery,
the
TW>specialist thought it best to not do it now ... disagreement amoung the
docs
TW>... sigh ... I am siding with the specialist on this ... Re-evaluate in
TW>few
TW>years after her growing years, in the mean time proper exercises.
Suspect the last clutch of four is infertile (first time breeders)
but the other six are fine, parents are feeding OK, etc.
TW>Done that many times, Claire. BTW, it doesn't even work from here when
ur
TW>SYSOP tries ... and he has tried to send you mail. Hobby BBS's aside,
've
TW>even tried from commercial services such as AOL and E-World. I've just
given
TW>up ... thinking I can't get there from here, heh.
Thanks to my list I get about 100 emails a day without any trouble.
Don't know what the problem is. You used to be able to send me email
from E-World, and I've only had the one email account.
Glad to hear that they are waiting on Amy's knee. She will need to
build up the muscles anyway, whether or not she has the surgery, so if
she can do it beforehand it should be easier. Sandbags. One thing, it
won't get better on its own if it needs surgery so waiting won't hurt
anything. Surprised to hear that a surgeon is taking a wait and see
attitude though.
TTYL. Claire
