How long does it take for a female cat to realize her beau is not trying to 
hurt her or play when she's in heat?   I almost fell down laughing the 
first few times it happened ... of course she does the monkey-see-monkey-do 
routine and tries to pin him down after that ... then he just starts 
'howling', looks at me then looks at her, as if saying 'Do something!' :)
