| subject: | FOSSIL hell. |
So I'm suffering in FOSSIL hell right now. Damnit, the only part of door writing I don't like is dealing with the communications routines. Why can't it be simple? My latest door library is built upon the Elecom library, which is great. However, I can't get the damn FOSSIL part object to work... AT ALL. Even the example.pas "door" included with the library doesn't work and I'm at my witts end. I'm ready to say "too hell with FOSSIL and DOS/16bit" at this point. Sockets are so much nicer (never thought I'd say that). Has anyone out there reading here had experience with the Elecom FOSSIL routines and gotten them to work with DOS 16, DOS 32 or Win32 platforms? ---* Origin: http ftp telnet://badnews.bbs.us & badnewsbbs.darktech.org (3:633/690) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/690 285 260 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
