There are some bbs's where one does have to make more of a convoluted
effort to reset pointers, and some where there really isn't any good way
to do it.  But, as the original poster was using the QWK door on a
Wildcat board, what I said IS the way to do it.  It's easier yet with a
BW door, but that's a luxury that we don't have all that often any more.
Sigh.
