Sex change operations are really just an extreme form of cosmetic
surgery. Nothing is done that allows an XY person to gestate a child or
allow an XX to be a dad.
I do not care what sort of cosmetic surgwery someone wants to
undergo as long as they pay for it themselves. This is America,
afterall. But there is no reason to take it seriously in the law. XX =
female  XY = male and all the other (very rare ) variants can call it
whatever they want.
