I didn't really mean for you to include Covad in your list of possible ISPs
(although they might sell to an individual).  You'd mention Covad to an
intelligent small provider, like Speakeasy.  ISPs like Speakeasy deal with
both the big ex-Bell boys and Covad (and a couple more).  www.speakeasy.net
can tell you whether you can get DSL from anyone, and roughly how fast,
once you GET RID OF THE RADIO STATION!

If you don't have the energy for that, cable is the better choice.
