Just a minor clarification...  my "friend" happens to be my husband, who
is also the resident Wizard...     Friend, yes, but a bit more than
that as well... :)

I don't remember ever having an u/l flag set for my packets...  I just
routinely rename the packet, so as not to send the messages again by
accident, but keep the packets in case I need to do a retry...  Or are
you talking about the Replied flag on the message itself in the .qwk
packet?  That works just fine for me, still.  One can even set that
manually, from the menu, if one had answered on line, but wanted to
remind oneself that it HAS been answered when looking at the packet.
