If you break something down into it's constituent molecules, you will
certainly need to know how to put them back together in the right order.

The duplication theory could make for an interesting dilemma, but I feel
that making an issue out of it would just destroy both the mechanics and
the ethics of the Trek universe as we know it.

It might be interesting to see someone like Dr. Pulaski go nuts like those
anti-warp drive environmentalists from "Force of Nature".

But is it worth deconstructing Trek to do it?
