Well you certainly got a rise out of me!!! Sorry if I over
reacted a bit. I agree you definitely need the tuner widget but even that
doesn't completely get rid of some of the red sticking out on the side of
some letters on my el cheapo monitors. I don't think its clear types
problem as much as the hardware. I'm so blind and old that things I can
*feel* like the keyboard and mouse bother me more than lack of good vision.
My poor vision makes cleartype and cheap monitors look good I guess

I still need a way to speed up the repeat rate of the keyboard under XP so
it matches the rates possible under Win2K. I thought I had found a
solution with Keyboard King utility program, but it isn't compatible with
dos programs (in the sense that it causes dos programs to just lock up if
Keyboard King is active) and that is unacceptable for my uses. Its
shareware and I emailed with the author who at one time indicated he was
going to do a re-write of the program, but apparently that idea has gone
south.
