Which is illegal for U.S. citizens to monitor! They'll send in the
federal troops and get us. No, wait. That's counterfeiting.
The VOA is "forbidden" from broadcasting to the United States, and
U.S. citizens can't get all those nice goodies like t-shirts and
mugs and stuff. I have always gotten QSLs, but they "warned" me
that I was not eligible to receive other things (even though my
taxes pay for them!).
I really like "African Panorama" and grievously miss Willis Conover.
"Panorama" is particularly good if you have a really good world
atlas and can follow along. I had a very nice time one evening
using my atlas while listening to a travel program on R. New
Zealand.
Of course, that all goes out the window when Albania starts droning
about their light bulb factory in Zbrdgszhnv or their wheat output.
