Dennis F., the actual band guy, bought a Studio for about $650.  I saw 
him arriving at the guitar show as I was leaving; but I don't know if he 
copped the guitar at the show or at some store around here.  He had been 
making noises about a LP Studio, but I don't know the particular virtue 
(except maybe price--they seem to go for $550-800) he was after.  I'd have 
to go look at my Les Paul book, which I've never really given a good read, 
to find out what makes a Studio that.
I'd like a '59 3-pickup Black Beauty, but I need to keep my car.
