LP> Yeah, I wore leg braces and an arm brace until I was about 9

I hope it doesn't happen, but don't be surprised if you have to go back to
that brace. I've heard of a lot who have. I've worn mine so many years now
that they've destroyed the tissue in my legs and now cause a lot of pain.
I've learned to do without them as much as possible and rely more on my
wheelchair. Some in this echo have entirely given up their braces and gone
to full time wheelchair use. So far, I haven't had the guts to do that.
LP> Tough... Do they think the heart disease is related to polio
LP> (stress, exertion, etc.) or independent of it? Polioers are sort

The first one was directly linked to the terrible circulation in my legs,
which of course, was a result of the Polio. The other two? Who knows?
Probably caused by not taking care of myself after the first one.
BL> I forgot to note the date of your message, so this may be a little late

LP> As you'll no doubt notice, I haven't exactly been prompt in

No hurry with the replies. I learned a long time ago not to let time
ontrol
my life. I had to grin about your hair remark. I wore a full beard for a
long time after I retired, just because I hate to shave. Then I became a
Reserve Deputy Sheriff and had to shave it to stay within policy of the
department. I STILL hat to shave!
Hugs...Bob
