DB*OMC has never priced or marketed Evinrude as its 'cheaper' model. If a

  *difference exists between them, it's a dealer thing. Are the Mariner's

I was aiming at Johnson.. wherefrom the John is JohnRude came.. And 
IMHO Johnson is just as fine a motor as a Evinrude. Just a tat cheaper.
