equals a limit case, and your point is taken.  And you've taught me
something about XP's differences (curves, subpixel granularity).

(Now let's survey the assembled multitude about ClearType.  More than half
the experienced users I know, with good and bad eyesight, young and old,
using screens from XGA to
super-fineWX{whoopee}[near-invisible](much_too_small)GA, like ClearType
only when they can tune out oh, say, 2/3 of the effect with the Microsoft
Tuner widget.  I'll sit back and wait for comments on that one.)
