What is at stake here is much more than money. If a guy trusts his wife
(or just makes the ordinary assumption) concerning paternity and the
truth is otherwise she has inflicted genetic extermination upon him.
Few men thruout history have had the resources to support more
than one familly. So for a guy to commit himself fully to one woman
puts him at some risk.  The natural instinctive response of a guy to
finding out that he has been duped this way is prompt homicide.
Everything else is likely to feel very unnatural.
