for $100 or so you can buy a hand held diagnostics thing that lets you read the
error codes and reset the check engine light. But all the ones that let you
tweak engine parameters have the limitation of only allowing you to do so for
ONE car. It's like a licensing issue. My friend bought one, tweaked his chevy,
I wanted to tweak mine too but the stupid thing refused saying it was already
used on his car.
