In the config.sys rem out the lines with DEVICE=COM.SYS
                                         DEVICE=VCOM.SYS
Add the following lines pointing to the path that contains your SIO files.
DEVICE=C:\SIO\SIO.SYS (COM1:57600,3F8,IRQ4,-) (COM2:115200,2F8,IRQ3,-)
DEVICE=C:\SIO\VSIO.SYS
DEVICE=C:\SIO\VX00.SYS
The COMx:nnnnnn is to lock the comport at the requested rate, and the "-" is
used to open the port in a less protected mode, similar to DOS.
