Actually, in half of the anecdotes she named, the men were pensioneers
and effectively supporting themselves. In the other half, the
women weren't supporting the "household" so much as the men
being "free" homeschooling tutors for the children.
Hmmm, this brings up an interesting side observation: Education,
especially pre-education, is going downhilll fast in the states.
A DC charity recently said that 40% of 4th graders were below
the minimum standard for reading and math NATIONWIDE!!!
This means that there will be a push for "traditional" households
with a man in the household compared to the 70's and 80's when
there was plenty of cheap illegal nannies and effective, safe
public schools for single moms to take advantage of.
A cite on mensnewsdaily.com/blog/channel1 claimed that 80% of new
mothers
wanted to quit their jobs to be a full-time mom. This doesn't leave
a lot of room for NOW meetings to discuss how oppressed they are. :-)

Indeed. Men never had an obligation to give women the right to vote
or so-called equality which is why they didn't get around to it right
away. But the fact that they did shows they are your moral superiors.
