| subject: | Doc`s Place & QWK packets |
Hello George, nice talking to you !
GL> I use the Bluewave off-line mail reader. I can not seem to
GL> down-load a decent QWK packet. I use an old unzip program [PKUNZIP
GL> version 2.04] .
I can not see why you would have problems George, with BW and
its supplied unzip package. I have been using BW for ages now and
it never crunged a .qwk for me. You might go and D/L it again to
cure whatever is bad in your setup for mail here. Maybe the
problem is somewhere else ??? The BW operation here is so
transparent to me, no intervention whatsoever, it just runs. I can
not get to see a version number here but it is dated Aug 88. Use
the zip-unzip as supplied in BW.
... I got this old Compaq going again.
... Fun it was ! But I did not do it alone.
