Hey Wilfred!
According to a Swedish archive, "I am the walrus, not the duper" appeared on
"2005-04-09 16:09:48", and was followed up by, "I am the walrus, du-du-du-dupe"
on "2005-04-14 17:12:15". They are more than the two messages but those were
(1:261/38.9)" and were roughly 3 years later than I first thought they were.
Still over a decade ago, but well after the declaration of obsolescence of the
two digit year ... although that is a different topic. Bottomline is that
MSGID corruption has been around for at least 12 years now.
It turns out that, "What time is it Mr. Wolf?", was about gmtime. Sorry about
any confusion that might have caused.
Life is good,
Maurice
