   That will be a problem - MS tends to drop support for software earlier
than most.    That does raise the question of what the service patch life
for .NET 1.0 will be.     If I faced that, I'd remove .NET 1.0 from all
systems and run the backlevel software in a VM containing .NET 1.0.
