Front Door and InterMail terminals won't do that.  I tried both and
neither worked.  However my old Telix does ignore Carrier Detect and
that worked just fine :).  Now if I only knew whether I need a data pump
upgrade or not, since I still haven't received anything different than
previous connect rates.  I wrote you about this and thanks for this
response.
