Hi John,
A web page is definitely in the future for certain. There's many
options about where to put it fortunately, just haven't taken the
plunge into designing a site yet...
I agree with you about the newsgroup problems. That is the least
desireable way of doing it by far. Being a member of a number of
mailing lists that are devoted to pro audio and such, and that seems to
be a fairly decent way to go, replying to the moderator who then can
repost your message to the group, that is really a little more control
than is really desired, since most of us keep on topic around here.
Regardless, as long as a Fidonet echo backbone exists and keeps
operating, that's what this echo is... the International Fidonet AUDIO
conference, it's official name, and it shall stay that way until there
isn't a Fido to support it, but in the meantime, just deciding the best
course of action for those that used to be here but can't get at Fido
any longer, but do have Internet access, as I'm starting to run into
them a lot on the Internet and they have expressed interest in accessing
the "echo".
