| subject: | Symantec C++ 7 |
PE> I bought Watcom C++ 10.0 about a year ago for $350. Why not PE> get that one instead, which is OS/2 16 + 32-bit, DOS 16 + 32-bit, PE> Windows 3.1 16 + 32-bit, Windows NT 32-bit? BFN. Paul. hmm.. about twice the price, and I have no use for OS/2 ability at the moment (which seems to be the only thing the Symantec doesn't have). But a review of WC++ (!) in apc seems favourable, apart from its appetite for disk space (how much of it can safely be left on the cd?), so it may be worth a closer look. Do you perhaps regard the Symantec and the Borland as equal inferiors to the Watcom? Cheers --- PPoint 1.88* Origin: Silicon Heaven (3:711/934.16) SEEN-BY: 711/809 934 |
