Hello Wyatt!

Yes, I believe this is now, in the process.

Yes...

Yes... and much more...

Yes... EveryOne, the good, the bad and the ugly... :)

I'm not the committee but I would think using ASM and PowerBASIC is all
that's needed, Chris Adams has already stated this in one of his messages,"I
believe." If we have C code that's okay too but I'm not a C person. I think
we should let PowerBASIC strut it's stuff. I don't think we should use any
code without the source and that all code be well documented. Functions and
sub routines be kept in a PowerBASIC.PBL and we maintain a PowerBASIC.PBH to
go with all code adopted by the committee. The PBH will not only serve as a
tool for debuging but could also serve as the springboard for our
documentation group.
I don't think we should launch into too many areas at one time and spread
ourselves too thin. Since we don't know what our head count is going to be,
we should first focus in on the FrontEnd Mailer and lay in a good foundation.
We have talked about a FrontEnd Mailer, a BBS, a Tosser, ect... as being part
of this project. Since there are some good BBSs and Tossers out there, I
would think the FrontEnd Mailer would be first in line and would allow us to
stay compatible and support the Tossers and BBSs already in use. The variety
of BBSs and Tossers already in use will make for a good test bed and we
should get great feedback.
We should be able to get the FrontEnd up and running fairly soon, that alone
would give inspiration to others to get in on the project. Actions speak
loudest, not words.
 WB> Best regards,
You too...
