Lisa Gano On (30 Jun 96) was overheard to say to Bob Moylan
LG> Boy, do you ever take yourself seriously. Talk about being close-
LG> minded...
We seem to have arrived at an impasse. You are convinced you are
right and don't want to hear anything else about it or check with
a professional who has, or should have, readily available
information.
LG> I do not have a PDR at my disposal right now, so I am not sure how
LG> Ritalin is classified.
Please look it up and, while your at it, read the side effects
section carefully paying close attention to the part that discusses
frequency of side effects, duration etc. I will assume that you know
it is mandatory for the PDR to list ALL side effects no matter what
the percentage of a control group exhibited them.
LG> I do know that in people who have ADHD, it speeds up a part of the
LG> brian and this allows the person to be able to focus better.
You've got that backasswards. Please do a little in depth reading
if, for no other reason, to improve your own understanding.
LG> In people who do not have ADD or ADHD, it acts as speed.
Please be so kind as to cite some professional journal article that
supports that statement.
... Those who follow like sheep are bound to get fleeced.
