| subject: | Re: Comodo firewall 2.4 released |
From: "Rich Gauszka"
I actually found it easier to setup ZA than Comodo and much prefer ZA's way
of doing things. That said I got tired of some extremely irritating bugs
and the apparent lack of effort by the ZA programming team to solve them in
a timely manner. The last one was ZoneAlarm's ( 65.737) insistence that
it keep changing the drive letters for my DVD drives ( finally saw a few
posting of that problem on the ZA forum after I was pulling my hair out
trying to figure why the assigned drive letters kept changing on me ) . I
just want a firewall that protects me from the internet but not my dvd
drives
I wouldn't recommend switching if ZA isn't giving you any problems but I
will advise you not to update ZA to any new release for at last 90 days
after that release and browse the typed cries of anguish by early adopters
in the ZA forum.
