Do you still have the ZIP file I sent you on your other computer, then? 
Just not on the Thinkpad?  It's a pretty big file to send the whole
thing, maybe I should just extract the 2.30 version for you?

I found commands where one could toggle all those status things.  I
think that they were in the F1 or F2 help when you are either at the
listing of message areas or actually within a message area reading
messages.  There's also the area and/or global toggle commands (Alt-A
and Alt-G) when one is either looking at the listing of messages (T,
when viewing messages) or the listing of message areas.  I even played
with it a little to see if it worked... of course, it did... :)
