Actually what he said was that in 2038 old C programs that use the
standard library time functions die.  BW is written in old version C and
uses those time functions.  So it isn't a Y2K bug, just a programming
language bug that will get us next time.  :)   (That also includes old
versions of Unix and Linux as well.)  DOS and the FAT file system is
good until 2108, which is the other thing that BW (and most of our BBS
stuff) is made of.

Facts courtesy of the resident Wizard... who adds that he isn't sure if
the newer versions of C corrected that... BW was actually written in an
old version of C++.

I expect I'll probably be around in 2038... in what shape, I couldn't
tell you...  probably not 2108, unless medicine makes some HUGE strides!
