I know not what others may think, but Rowling improves with each volume. 
She's dead on with her characters..the .pre-teens actand think like real
pre-teens, mid-teens think and act like mid-teens, adults think and act
like adults, old think and act like old.  Everyone, good and bad, makes
mistakes...and most learn from them.  I hope the same can be said for the
Dursleys and Percy Weasley in the future as it can be said now for
Professor Snape, James Potter and Ron Weasley.
