Here in Lafayette, LA there is a guy who invented an oil filter which uses a 
roll of toilet paper incorporated into a unit to filter oil. This system is 
EXTREMELY nice, and does a VERY good job of filtering contaminants, besides 
being able to swap filters cheaply. I do not remember his name, but, if you 
are interested, I will find out, and write back. It works for diesels as well 
as gasoline engines, and is FAR superior to anything else on the market. BEST 
thing is, it has a remote tank which will NOT drain out, so you absolutely 
will NOT start your engine dry.
