When you factor in all the hidden gotchas only the terminally stupid or
"video geeks" will bother.

e.g.....Shiny new HD-DVD/BlueRay.....but an "untrusted display device"
&....money wasted coz where's the advantage over DVD....so now you'll
need a big new expensive LCD display....then "how do I back up my new
media? " - Answer "No way dude......they get scratched you have
to buy the film again" etc.etc.


I am waiting till (a) Someone makes a little box wot authenticates &
then passes through the vid signal & (b) cracks the DRM in an easy to
use way so I can munge the disk to an AVI or copy to another HD-DVD/Blueray
disk etc.


Till then it's about as interesting as a cold day in Antarctica.
