Everyone,

I recently did a complete, fresh install of OS/2 Warp 4.52 on a P3/550 machine
?I have. Windows and Linux both run on it fine, as did OS/2. However, whenever
?I tried to run a DOS window, it (the window) crashed. It was a general error
?(SYS3175?). I had this problem once before on another machine, so I switched
?to the Scitech/PE driver for the card (built-in ATI Rage II+).

Sadly, the same error occured. So, I went back to the original machine
?(Celeron/400).

Any ideas that would cause the DOS window to die? F/S DOS worked fine. I'm
?suspecting something in the display driver (as usual).

Also, is there a good utility to measure memory leakage besides Theasus? I
?cannot get that program to install (always crashes). I've got 196MB RAM in
?this machine (the BBS machine) and I've only got like 4 MB free (at least
?according to Object Desktop's Control Center). I'm suspecting I've got
?something that's leaking memory pretty badly, but I'm not sure /what/.

Any and all help with either of these problems is greatly appreciated. It's
?rather frustrating because the board is running too slow and it's wanting to
?hang up in places that it shouldn't.

Later,
Sean
