subject: Re: codec problem?

From: "Geo."

I am running the latest, but it's not just the xvid codec, it also happens
with the divx codec.

I'll uninstall them, clean up the files and registry, and reinstall them.
Maybe something got stepped on by a backdated version.

It could simply be a buggy codec. Did you try the latest version?
Someone else posted that he installed the latest divx player and it worked
for him. Maybe that fixed the problem. If you already have the latest
version then maybe it is buggy only in some configurations.
