From this perspective it had issues with PST8PDT.  I don't recall which, PST or
PDT, was an hour out.  Not really a biggie though given the issues caused by
the change over twice a year.  That is one reason I stick with UTC which
doesn't suffer from switch over issues.

For the record the Maximus opensource was available at one time and might even
still be for all I know.  I did manage to successfully compile it with whatever
version of gcc I had at the time but never did actually run it.  I did use the
opensource Squish but that was before we were linking.  By the time we became
links I was using all my own homegrown stuff which I am still using as we
speak.  Speaking of which I still have you as a link although we actually
haven't exchanged anything since Alan took over.  It should still work.
