For some indeed   From here, Montreal is about 5 drive.  When I was 20, I
probably would have thought nothing about doing that, just for a coffee and a
donut .  Today is another story.  I have to drive 5 hours to see my son who
lives in Windsor (accross from Detroit), and I no longer enjoy that drive. 
Even less so, since my mother died, and she used to live 45 minutes closer then
he does now.
