I will look for the specs on the XU, since You mentioned it doesn't use

I played with ARC many years ago when the C=64 was the only pc I had.
After I had a 486 built I slacked off using the C=64.
My wife would ask me to help Her do something on Her C=64 once in a
while, and She only used it two or three times a year.
I've read about files encoded in D64 in BBS messages, but never got
interested enough to download the D64 software.
