Its an IO Magic drive. Dont know the model, but its 16x dual layer.
It was on sale from Staples (staples.com). They have had them on sale every
?few months or so. Was $50.00 (US) after a small 'easy rebate' from them.

Sounds like what I do. I create the .iso with MKISOFS then burn with
?CDRecord. The one DVD I created was through UPDCD. It created the .ISO and
?ran DVDDAO on its own. I havent tried running it manually yet.

I don't see why not. It may need some mods to the option line. I don't think
?it uses the -speed= , just the speed and such.

Not really sure. I can't fing the disk at the moment to check it. :{
