I had a couple of RPi3's that were loads of fun and reliable, BUT the Raspian
OS coupled with the hardware just isn't powerful enough to run any mainstream
apps. I had Mystic and Apache running on one quite successfully, so it's good
for just a BBS as long as you have plenty of clean power (I ended up getting a
50W USB power adapter with 6 jacks for all the peripherals (all ran off 5V
USB). Monitor, Cpu, Sound, cooling fan, etc. I also bought a hardware interfave
kit for a rainy day, still in the box {chuckle}
