Hi Glenn.  I don't know about converting existing files as such, but if you
can open the document in Word 6, you then use File SaveAs, and at the bottom
of the dialog box there is a list under "Save File as Type", where you can 
choose the option "Word for Windows 2.0".  When you close the document it
will query your save format - choose "Word for Windows 2.0" again.  You
should then be able to open the document using Word 2.0.
It really is quite simple!
