Hee Hee, yeah, you are right. But I'll tell you what. I've had to
spend three weeks in Atlanta in July, and brother, you can have it! No
way you can tell me with all that humidity that it is easier to play
in Atlanta. Now, I know a little of humidity, as I hail from New
Orleans, and I'd say that I'd rather summer here in dFW than in any
real humid place.

Of course, you are right, here. Now, the Rangers did lead the AL West
when the strike happened, albeit they were almost 10 games below .500.
We'll never know what would have happened that year. Kennedy has a
problem with pitching staffs. Nearly ruined Tom Henke when here, and
even in the division winning year last year in Boston, he ruined Ken
Ryan. Used him the same way he used Henke here. This year, I think he
has damaged Slocumb with the way he is using him.

Well, I guess I was referring to the Phil Regan tenure, not what they
have done under Davey Johnson (who I really wanted to see come here
after Valentine was fired). Now, with the question put in that form,
who would you rather? And do you see a little of my point? And why he
is a good man for the job here in Texas?
