I see you are in the Visalia area -- I used to live there.. what area do you 
live in?  Is there an active homeschool group there?  I used to call that bbs 
when I lived in Tulare.  I am homeschooling a first grader this year... my 
second grade daughter is in a very good special ed school in a nearby town, 
and will stay there for another year, at least... but I have contributed much 
to her education at home as she is an especially bright child.
