Sure? I'm noob in source handling, but i think the default is "current".
(Which is 1.9 at the moment.)

I get my updates with

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous{at}husky.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/husky co .

without any branch definitions and got daily fresh files lately.
