Salut Fred,
I got 6.42g and noticed a problem when starting it from a PIF file (the 
problem is new; it wasn't there before 6.42g) in Windows.
Upon startup, the DTR line is not raised, and I can't even send the init 
string to the modem, nor can I type something like "ATDT1234567".
All I can do is bring the dialing directory, choose one (or tag many) entry 
and start dialing. Now it works. The DTR is raised, and all seems to be 
right. The program works fine if I start it from a DOS box though.
Very strange, no?
