Sean, top of the morning to you !
SD> My name is pronounced the same way Sean Connery's is. "Shahn" with
SD> the "ah" as in "wash".
Thanks. I was asking because it is phonetically very close to
mine. Most people here think that this is feminin, I have been a
fellow for a few years, so far. It is John for you guys,
anglosaxophones.
SD> Not a problem! I'm working on switching back to Maximus/2 (Maximus
SD> has an excellent QWK system)
Juxtaposition here runs Maximus and it is very nice.

SD> I very nearly shut down a few months ago when I lost the board (due to
SD> my own fumbling and a bad backup), but for some weird reason, I just
SD> cannot bring myself to shut down the BBS, oddly enough. It's weird!
Same weirdness makes me use BlueWave and ZOC still. I love the
"bare-bone" apps. To me, they bring me back to a C= BBS where I
learned the way to use FIDO. Keep trucking !
... No matter what, no NNTP.
... Telnet is great !
