It did work with 3.11 and it works well. I would though recommend the latest 
patches (PTG if I remember correctly) and I believe there is a special one 
for name space. These can be down loaded from Novell's web site.

Don't forget to add the name space to the volume as well. Just loading the 
*.nam file alone is no help. Once the name space is added to a volume, the 
.nam file will auto load when the volume is mounted.
Some one said that there is a memory penalty for name space, but this is 
small, there is a bigger penalty on disk space, which with our 4 Gig volumes 
was about 8.5 Meg.
