subject: Report Calculations

To all!!!
..
Is it possible in a report to control the display of data in one
calculated field based on the data in another field. My situation is
this:
I have a report that is based on an answer table of a query. The report
is a "Customer Order". The "detail" section has the line items sold to
the customer. The next section of the report has fields for "sub total",
"sales tax", "shipping" & "total amount". "Total Amount" field is a
calculated field based on sum of "sub total", "sales tax", & "shipping".
I want the "total amount" field to display its calculation only when the
"shipping" field has data in it. I tried to use the iif method but it
doesn't work. If this is the correct approach I don't know how to use
the iif method correctly in this situation. "Sub total" is calculated
from the line items, "sales tax" is also a calculated field, but the
"shipping" field is from actual data entered into the Shipping field on
the Order table. Can anyone tell me if this can be done and if so how?.
Thanks for the help.
